Book shell modeling refers to the various forms of hardcover book envelope manufacturing.

Whole book cover

The entire surface is also called comprehensive. It refers to the process of forming a book cover shell by bonding two cardboard and a middle diameter plate together with a soft cover material in the book shell paste, as shown in FIG. 8 .

2. Interface book shell

The junction is also called half. Refers to the use of two or more soft cover material to bond the two cardboard and middle diameter plates into a book package shell, as shown in Figure 9.

3. Sandwich book case

Sandwich bookcase refers to the process of filling a layer of plastic foam or corrugated cardboard in the middle of the bookcase (between the paperboard and the cover) to characterize the grade of the hardcover book.

4. Fillet, square corner book case

As the book block is deformed at the upper and lower corners of the book block, the cardboard is also deformed. The upper and lower corners of the front cover of the book block are cut into round corners with a certain circular potential. The corners of the cut cardboard are not squared off. 5. Wrap angle and no wrap angle

In the processing of book shells, in order to achieve the purpose of material saving and firmness, the upper and lower corners of the book envelope are wrapped with a layer of solid soft material in the form of wrap angles. The angle of the book cover is generally more than the face of the book, commonly used in the book envelope, that is, paste the book cover and the book block, after the upper and lower ring lining of the book block and the second seal, the third bond became The processing form of a hardcover book is shown in Figure 11.

6. Hot Stamping and Embossing

There are two types of hot stamping on the hardcover bookcase: one is to use hot stamping material to stamp the graphic with various hot stamping materials on the front cover or waist; one is to not use hot stamping material, only hot press all kinds of drawings Traces of the text, that is, no stamping imprinting. Whether or not to use hot stamping material in book envelope printing depends on the publication requirements.
