Exstream Software Releases Dialogue V2.0
Exstream Software released its product, Dialogue V2.0, which is the culmination of three years of R&D activity.

Exstream Dialogue software combines personalized file generation, competition management, tracking, and multi-channel delivery with an easy-to-use tool. Version 2.0 adds more than 70 features, including important PCL output, based on space changes, text size, a tenth of the font size, a digital drive to the text color, a table space and Charts, etc.

5. Harlequin's Jaws PDF Generator Version 2.0 Harlequin's Jaws PDF Generator Version 2.0 is the only replacement for Adobe Acrobat's equivalent. The Jaws PDF Generator version 2.0 has a single-user MSRP, which claims to have a user-friendly interface that allows branching, exchange, and archiving of commonly used PDF-formatted electronic files globally and prints these files equally easily.

The most essential feature of the Jaws PDF Generator is that it is a print driver that can generate PDF files on both Windows and Macintosh platforms. The generated file is in the PDF 1.3 format. The PDF generator specifically provides a "drag and drop" process to manipulate Postscript files, which is often used in image design. In addition, PDF Generator V2.0 adds support for the PDF 1.3 format, including changes made by many other users.

Unlike Acrobat's plug-in for generating PDF files, Jaws PDF Generator 2.0 is a veritable "stillizer" that provides almost the same functionality as Adobe Acrobat. Jaws PDF Generator V2.0 can be used for various types. The files are translated, such as Word, Excel, WorkPerfet, etc. Jaws PDF Generator V2.0 also supports PDF files encrypted by RSA's RCA security measures. In addition Jaws PDF Generator V2.0 also allows users to generate PDF files that can prevent authorized recipients from opening, printing, or modifying.

Harlequin's Jaws PDF Generator V2.0 has a share of Adobe Acrobat due to its functional counterpart.

VI. IKON Office Solutions is planning to collaborate with EFI to develop Velocity Workflow Management Software. This program is designed to improve the printing process to maximize the output of digital files, make it more powerful and easier to manage. Using EFI directly, IKON intends to promote and sell Velocity products to its users.

In addition, IKON and EFI are working together to customize the Velocity software for IKON's Digital Express 2000 service (IKON Digital Express 2000 is a network file management and print e-procurement system).

Velocity uses advanced features to control color, monochrome, and variable digital tasks on multiple imaging engines. Velocity is on a server that sits between the workstation and the EFI Fiery driver product. Velocity balance processing allows users to balance production by output, and divides the workload into up to five imaging engines within the existing printing crew. The long-lived work can be distributed to multiple printing presses, or can be rationally arranged for multi-tasks, resulting in a huge workflow efficiency.

Velocity can be based on task order instructions to evaluate various factors such as engine speed, number of tasks pages, number of work groups, job size, engine status, and then provide intelligent work schedules. The workstation-based Velocity design along with Fiery FreeForm and FreeForm+ simplifies the generation of variable digital files under the Windows and Machintosh platforms. This benchmark caters to the market's demand for personalized customization and more visible salt, which makes IKON and EFI's new products more competitive.

Image X.com and IKON Office Solutions announced that the joint efforts of the two companies will jointly print e-purchase solutions for users of Image X.com, Image X.com's Online Print Control Center (COPC-Corporobe Online Printint Center) and IKON. Connected to the digital Express 2000, this network management, production and distribution system will serve the users of both companies.

Last year, IKON Corporation took the lead in introducing the Image X.com company's online printing center to complete the company's internal brand information printing. Shortly thereafter, IKON asked Image X.com to provide this product to its own users. After the two companies have reached an existing partnership, Image X.com will provide its own COPC solution to 350,000 corporate users worldwide.

In turn, Image X.com will also provide IKON’s digital Express products with COPC to its existing and potential print e-procurement users. Both partners will provide personnel, training and other resources for each other to support this cooperative sales plan.

Image X.com's COCP Online Printing Center is an Internet-based technology solution that helps users control and reduce the expense of printing corporate data. With this solution, user companies can list a customized online catalog, allowing users to easily open, modify, and read corporate print materials on their own computer. This solution reduces the company's printing costs by reducing the error rate, minimizing the desk work, ensuring compliance with the printing standards, and omitting certain prepress steps.
