Die lips plated with chromium nitride have outstanding uniformity and accuracy, especially compared to chrome plating. These two new surface technologies are currently used in EDI's Autoflex die and Ultraflex die (cast film and extrusion coating production), as well as in Ultracoat slot die (proximity coating production).
