Cash register printer common faults and detection methods

The fault has been one, the POS cash register printer does not print

(1) Check that the printer cable is properly connected and the power is normal.

(2) Check if the printer status is normal, the installation is correct, and there is no paper or paper jam.

(3) It is normal to replace the printer test or connect the printer to other machines.

(4) Test whether the printing is normal in CHECK and determine whether to apply a software error.

Fault 2, POS cash register external printer characters are blurred or lack of strokes

(1) Check if the ribbon has no color. If not, replace the ribbon in time.

(2) The print head breaks or the print head cable breaks.

(3) The needle printer has two-way printing positioning offset, and the belt is loose.

(4) Print the ticket character offset.

Fault three, the printer head cable is damaged, it can not work properly

Damage to the cash register of the cash register may result in the printer not being able to self-test, non-stop feeding, and no paper feeding; printing is interrupted; unclear printing, few lines, and ghosting seriously affect the normal operation of the cash register. At this time, the operator should not disassemble the printer. It is best to contact the supplier's technical personnel in time, because it is also likely that the printer's transmission gear is seriously worn.
