2. Cleaning method for new coverslips and new slides
The cleaning of commercially available coverslips and slides is relatively simple. They can be soaked in 2% hydrochloric acid alcohol (95% alcohol 100 parts added with concentrated hydrochloric acid 2 parts) for several hours, then rinsed with running water to allow the water droplets to dry out Store in% alcohol for later use.
3. Cleaning methods for obsolete coverslips and slides
(1) Boil the sliced ​​specimens that do not need to be kept in soapy water for 5-10min.
(2) Wash the remaining gum paste in hot water.
(3) After rinsing with clean water, let the water droplets drain.
(4) Immerse in the washing solution for about 30min.
(5) Rinse with clean water and rinse with distilled water, and let the water droplets drain.
(6) Immerse in 95% alcohol for storage.
Remove the coverslip and slide from alcohol during use, and wipe both sides of the slide with a clean gauze at the same time. Be careful when wiping the coverslip, using even force to avoid cracking.
