First, the safety technology of steel barrel grinding edge production
Most of the edging machines used in the barrel industry in China use the grinding wheel as a tool. The grinding wheel consumes fast when grinding, and needs to be adjusted and repaired frequently. The daily dynamic management workload is large. In the use of the grinding wheel, the personnel may be injured due to the quality of the grinding wheel, the transportation and storage of the packaging, the installation operation and the like. The working speed of the grinding wheel is high, and the falling abrasive dust inhales into the human body and affects health, and enters the eye to cause an accident. Therefore, the edger has a greater impact on the safety and health of the operator.
The edger cannot be installed in places that are corrosive or inflammable and explosive, such as heat treatment workshops, woodworking rooms, gas stations, oil depots, etc.
The opening degree of the protective cover of the grinding machine grinding wheel should be no more than 125o, the protective cover should have sufficient strength, the thickness of the protective cover steel plate should be no less than 3mm, and the gap between the new grinding wheel and the side of the casing of the edger (internal measurement) is 20~30mm The clearance between the outer cover plate and the grinding wheel is 10~15mm, and the grinding machine should be equipped with grinding wheel pieces that meet the specified diameter and thickness.
The grinding wheel must undergo strict and serious inspection before installation and use. The inspection items are: (1) whether there is a certificate of conformity and whether it is within the specified storage period; (2) the characteristics of the grinding wheel such as abrasive, particle size, hardness, bonding agent, shape size and safety. Whether the circumferential speed meets the technical requirements of the edging equipment; (3) whether there is any defect or crack in the appearance; (4) hitting the corresponding four points on both sides of the grinding wheel with a wooden hammer, it should be the corresponding crisp sound, if there is a muffled sound (5) The inner hole of the grinding wheel should be clean and free of scratches; (6) The storage of the grinding wheel should be kept in a place where it is wet or oily, and should be stored on a special wooden frame, and should be stored. Stand upright.
The chipboard of the grinding wheel edger can prevent sparks or particles from splashing when grinding, and can also block the grinding wheel to fly out of the injured operator; the bracket can prevent the steel material from smashing and damaging the grinding wheel when the edge is worn. The grinding wheel edger and the bracket should be designed with sufficient strength. The width of the chipboard should not be less than the width of the grinding wheel. The diameter and radial direction of the bracket can be adjusted. angle. The gap between the chipboard and the grinding wheel should be adjusted at regular intervals.
The function of the flange beside the grinding wheel of the edger is to transmit the driving force of the motor to the grinding wheel, and to ensure the stability of the grinding wheel; the diameter of the flange should be larger than 1/3 of the diameter of the grinding wheel and the diameter of both sides is equal; No distortion or deformation, otherwise the grinding wheel may be broken. The flange is not allowed to be made of cast iron. The cushion between the flange and the grinding wheel should be padded. The function is to eliminate the micro-parallelism of the grinding wheel and increase the contact surface of the grinding wheel; The diameter of the cushion is required to be 2~3mm larger than the diameter of the flange. Therefore, it is necessary to visually check whether there is a cushion and how tight it is. The cushion can be cut with asbestos, rubber, leather, etc., and the thickness is 1~2mm; the fixed grinding wheel and The nuts of the flange must be tightened.
The grinding wheel should have no obvious radial vibration and runout during operation. If the running speed is stable after starting the machine, this phenomenon still occurs. The cause of the fault should be carefully searched. When searching, you can use the screwdriver to check whether the grinding wheel bearing has abnormal operation sound. If it is possible, the bearing is damaged. You can also check whether the grinding wheel on both sides is swinging. If it is possible, the motor shaft is deformed. In addition, the grinding wheel is unbalanced and not fixed. May cause vibration or bounce of the grinding wheel.
After the wear of the grinding wheel of the edging machine exceeds the limit, it should be replaced in time. This limit determines two aspects, one is the adjustment limit of the equipment, the diameter of the grinding wheel can not be replaced in time when it meets the requirements of the production process; the other is the safety limit, the limit size of the remaining wheel of the grinding wheel = the diameter of the new grinding wheel - flange Diameter size - 10mm.
The edging machine must be operated in strict accordance with the following safe operating procedures: (1) Wear protective glasses and a mask when edging. (2) Do not press the grinding wheel too tightly when grinding. (3) The operator should try to stand on the side or the back of the grinding wheel to prevent the grinding wheel from breaking. (4) The grinding wheel grinding amount should be adjusted in time. (5) When the grinding wheel is worn to the limit size, the new grinding wheel should be replaced in time.
