The most commonly used exterior coating in our steel drum industry is amino baking varnish. Its full name is amino alkyd drying enamel. The amino alkyd drying enamel is based on the crosslinked product of amino resin and alkyd resin as the main film-forming material. It is one of the main varieties of baking varnish. Its curing is achieved by heating an etherification reaction between a methylol group in an amino resin and a hydroxyl group in an alkyd resin, and a polycondensation reaction of an amino resin. The advantage of this kind of paint is that the paint film is full, tough, good adhesion, high mechanical strength, good weather resistance, anti-powder, anti-cracking and good wet and dry performance. It is not sticky after drying; it has certain water and acid resistance. Alkali resistance, oil resistance and good electrical insulation properties; and good construction performance, the paint film is not easy to wrinkle, easy to level.

However, this paint also has the disadvantages of anti-pollution, anti-corrosion, chemical resistance, anti-surfactant and poor solvent resistance. This causes the steel drum coated with the outer coating to be directly splashed or exposed to the liquid objects when the user fills the liquid objects, even in the case of contact with the steam of the articles. The paint outside the steel drum is easy to foam, wrinkle, shell, discolor and fall off.

In addition, the amino alkyd baking enamel is baked and cured. According to different grades of resin and different colors, the curing condition should be 105-120 ° C, 1.5 to 2 hours. However, the assembly line of our steel drum industry can not be baked for such a long time, only to improve the baking temperature and shorten the baking time, but after all, it is unfavorable for the curing of the paint film. Moreover, the temperature and time of the domestic steel drum line drying tunnel cannot be accurately grasped, the temperature is low, the paint film is easy to be sticky and the paint film is brittle. This makes the anti-corrosion ability of the amino alkyd drying enamel even worse.

How can we overcome these shortcomings of amino alkyd drying enamel? 1490 amino lacquer performance enhancer can participate in and enhance the curing process of amino alkyd drying enamel, reduce the curing conditions of amino alkyd drying enamel, and make amino alkyd bake The cured film of the dry enamel paint forms a network structure, which greatly improves the corrosion resistance of the paint film. After adding 1490 reinforcing agent to the amino alkyd drying enamel for external use in steel drum, it can effectively enhance the hardness, brightness, smoothness, chemical corrosion resistance and grease resistance of the paint film. The general chemical corrosion liquid is poured on it. The surface of the paint film also has no effect. It should be used as if it were a thinner, but be sure to stir evenly and let it stand for a few minutes to allow the gas to be stirred away to run away. Then it can be operated in the same way as the usual construction method of amino baking varnish.
