1. The printing is confirmed
Before printing, first determine whether the printing method is surface printing or inside printing, and then determine the type of film and distinguish the corona treatment surface; determine the type of plate cylinder (reverse or genuine); select different types of thinners for ink, etc. .
2. Temperature and humidity are important
If the temperature and humidity in the printing workshop are too high, the printed products may cause back sticking, fading, color transfer, blocking, and poor firmness. In severe cases, the ink may decompose and cannot be printed. If the workshop is too dry, static electricity will be generated when the printing speed is fast, and the ink will move upstream on the film, while when the printing speed is slow, the printed matter will be dull and dry plate, paste plate and other phenomena will appear. Generally, the temperature in the printing workshop should be controlled at 18 ~ 25 ℃, and the relative humidity should be controlled at 55% ~ 75%.
3. Find the balance of the plate roller carefully
Generally speaking, the balance of the printing plate cylinder depends on the printing machine and the plate-making plate roller, but it is also affected by the installation. When installing, be sure to determine the position of each color plate cylinder, and install firmly. The position of the plate cylinder is determined by the alignment line on the plate cylinder and the length of the plate cylinder. For the plate cylinder without keyway, the screw must be tightened.
4. Master the angle of the scraper
The angle between the squeegee and the plate cylinder is generally controlled at 45 to 65 °, and can be further adjusted according to the depth of the net hole and the printing speed. During the adjustment, it should be noted that the distance between the doctor blade and the rubber roller should be matched with the printing speed. At the same time, proper pressure should be given to the scraper. The size of the pressure of the doctor blade can be adjusted according to the graphic depth of the printing plate hole and the sequence of overprinting.
5. The viscosity of the ink can be adjusted at any time
To adjust the working viscosity of the ink, on the one hand, the printing speed should be taken into consideration. If the printing speed is fast, the fast-drying thinner should be selected; if the printing speed is slow, the slow-drying thinner should be selected. On the other hand, in the printing process, the diluent that is volatilized should be added in time, and it is best to mix it with the ink and add it to the ink fountain to ensure the consistency of the printed matter.
6. The pressure of the rubber roller should be kept in mind
Impression rubber roller is not flat, there will be missing printing, uneven coloring, etc .; rubber roller pressure is too large, the printed pattern will appear ghosting, unclear, dull, etc .; rubber roller pressure is too small, there will be a light web Some parts are not colored, and the characters are not clear. 7. The printing speed oven is well coordinated
The drying system affects the speed of the gravure printing machine. From single oven to double oven and multi-function oven, drying tunnel, no matter what kind of drying system, its main function is the same, one is to increase the speed of the printing press, and the other is to improve the adhesion of the ink on the film surface, so that the diluent in the ink is thorough Dry to prevent false drying, causing back sticking or odor after bag making. Therefore, the drying system should be matched with the speed of the printing machine, and then the oven temperature and air volume should be adjusted according to the size of the pattern area on the printed product.
8. Ignore tension register running
In order to facilitate printing and improve printing speed, the magnetic powder tension control system is installed at the loading and unloading positions of the gravure printing machine to automatically control the tension. Some high-end gravure printing machines have also installed computer tracking and automatic control systems in various color groups. For printing machines without a computer color register system, the tension of each color group is adjusted manually.
