The wooden door is coated with many different processes. The principle of the process design is to select the appropriate coating type according to the requirements and standards of the customer's wooden door products, determine the painting operation process and the configuration of related equipment. From the surface effect requirements of wooden door products, we can divide it into a fully enclosed effect and a semi-open effect; at the same time, it can be divided into a transparent effect and a solid color effect.
In the market, we can see most of the wooden door products, the surface coating effect is fully enclosed transparent and colored effect, the coatings used are mainly PU paint. In this paper, we will introduce the process and the advantages and disadvantages of each process with PU as the coating's fully enclosed transparent colored effect.
The above basic process (suitable for the paint painting operation of most wooden door enterprises. However, each factory has made some adjustments based on the above products according to the product positioning and materials used by the respective companies, and derived many different processes. The operation process, below we will focus on introducing various derivative process operations.
One: one bottom side
1. Process: white blank grinding → scraping water ash → grinding → spray transparent primer → sanding → spraying colored transparent surface.
2, product positioning: low-end products.
3. Advantages: The process is the simplest, and the coating cost is the lowest. In the case that the wood white billet has obvious defects, it is filled with wood-colored water ash, and the colored transparent surface is sprayed with a relatively dark color, which can better cover the substrate. defect. Uniform color.
4. Disadvantages: The product has no permeability and can not see the natural texture of the wood. The overall coating effect is similar to the solid color paint effect on the medium density board. Because only one primer is made, the filling property of the product is not good, and the anti-sag property is not good. It is easy to appear that the surface paint film of the product has wave-like fluctuations, which greatly affects the overall beauty of the product. The grinding of water ash is the most time-consuming, labor-intensive, dusty and dusty, making it difficult for the sander to work.
Two: two bottom side (including water gray type)
1. Process: white blank grinding → scraping water ash → grinding → spray transparent primer → grinding → spray transparent primer → sanding → spray colored transparent surface.
2, product positioning: low-end.
3. Advantages: The process is relatively simple, the coating cost is low, and it has better filling and anti-sag property than the previous process.
4. Disadvantages: The permeability of the product is not so good, the layering is not strong, and the natural texture and beauty of the wood cannot be well displayed. The water ash has a large grinding strength and a large dust ash.
5. Suggestions: (1) Change the wood color water ash to “colored water ashâ€; (2) Change the spray colored transparent top lacquer to use the color repairing essential oil to repair the color, lightly grind, and then spray the transparent top lacquer. This will greatly improve the permeability and layering of the product, so that the texture of the wood can be more clearly expressed, and the overall cost will not increase much.
Third: three bottom side
1. Process: white blank polishing→spray transparent primer→grinding→spray transparent primer→grinding→spray transparent primer→grinding→repairing→light grinding→spraying topcoat.
2, product positioning: high-end products.
3, advantages: good permeability, can clearly show the natural texture of wood. The construction of the water ash is omitted, and the strength of the grinding is reduced.
4, shortcomings: high cost, the process has not been simplified, if it is the material of deep wood eye, three primers can not do a good fullness. If the texture of the material is fine, it will not enhance the effect of the grain texture (just the real performance).
5. Suggestions: (1) If the material is darker, the second primer can be wet-wet; (2) the second primer can be changed from spray to scrape, which not only greatly saves Cost, the coating effect is better.
Fourth: bottom coloring, face repair
1. Process flow: white blank grinding → spray sealing solid bottom → grinding → rub PU Gres → spray transparent primer → sanding → spray transparent primer → sanding → spray transparent primer → grinding → color correction → light grinding → spray Clear topcoat.
2, product positioning: high-end products.
3. Advantages: It has very good permeability and layering (three-dimensionality). Even if the texture of the wood itself is not clear enough, the texture can be expressed more clearly through the above process.
4. Disadvantages: high cost and long working time.
5. Suggestions: (1) If the texture of the wood itself is very clear and beautiful, it is not necessary to use the bottom coloring (such as the veneer of Sapele, directly to make a transparent primer, the wooden eye itself will emit a flashing effect. Very beautiful; but if you do the bottom coloring process, you can't show this effect); (2) After the bottom coloring process, the color of the face color can be lighter, so that the layering and permeability are better.
Through the above process introduction and analysis, we can see that each process has its applicability and has its advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, when choosing a process, we must consider the actual needs and conditions to choose the right process. Otherwise, it is difficult to achieve the desired effect, sometimes it costs more, and we can't do the effect and quality we want. .
Today, the growing popularity of wooden door manufacturing industry means that the competition in the industry is becoming more and more fierce. The overall trend of profit margins for wooden door manufacturing and sales is getting lower and lower. How to control costs, improve quality and improve production efficiency is the subject of every practitioner. Does improving quality mean increasing costs? On the surface: Yes. But it is not.
Some people say that I want the effect of the "bottom coloring, face repairing" process, but I want the process to be more simplified and lower cost. In fact, it can be done. Some factories have already used new materials to replace the previously used water ash, so that it not only has good filling, construction, but also can achieve the effect of bottom coloring. The use of new materials can optimize processes, reduce costs and increase efficiency.
When the coating was just applied, most people used the brushing method, and later changed to the spraying method, which greatly improved the production efficiency and quality. However, people have neglected that there are many ways to paint. Some factories use the method of scraping, which not only saves the cost, improves the efficiency, but also makes the effect better.
Therefore, painting as a science, like all other scientific fields, has endless exploration. It is constantly improving and developing.
