In Le Mans, the thrill of racing and the "Swiss spirit" remain alive. The REBELLION RACING team not only secured a podium finish but also unveiled their latest timepiece—the new PREDATOR R-ONE watch—on the global stage.
On June 13 and 14, 2015, the REBELLION RACING crew, led by Bart Hayden, celebrated a moment they’ll never forget. This was the ninth time the brand had taken part in the iconic 24-hour Le Mans endurance race, one of the most challenging and prestigious events in motorsport.
For the first and second time in the same category, REBELLION RACING stood tall. As the only team to proudly display the colors of the Swiss flag, they claimed first and second place in the LMP1 Privateers class. More impressively, they finished ninth overall in the general classification. This achievement was especially memorable as top-tier teams like Porsche also faced tough competition that year.
Just like in 2012, 2013, and 2014, the pilots of REBELLION RACING once again dominated the FIA WEC LMP1 team trophy, embodying the brand’s motto: “Passion, Strength, Time.â€
Now, under the spotlight at the 24-hour Le Mans Endurance Race, with over 263,500 spectators and international media watching, the Swiss watchmaker made a bold move. They launched the new Predator R-One—a limited edition of just 24 pieces. Designed with an avant-garde and non-conforming style, this watch exudes a powerful, masculine presence.
The Predator R-One features a mechanical movement with automatic winding, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). It comes in a striking 48mm black carbon fiber case designed by Eric Giroud. With a water resistance of 100 meters, it offers hours, minutes, and seconds, along with a 50-hour power reserve.
Each piece is signed by a pilot from the REBELLION convoy, symbolizing the fierce energy of a racing engine and the relentless ambition of a championship-winning team. The Predator R-One isn’t just a watch—it’s a tribute to speed, precision, and the unbreakable spirit of Le Mans.
