New PET resin production catalyst come out

Johnson Matthey (JM) Catalyst introduced a new Vertec AC450 catalyst for the production of PET resin. The catalyst is a proprietary technology based on organotitanates, with a faster reaction rate, improved polymer properties, and low residue in the final polymer.

The existing Vertec 400 series catalysts are used in the production of polyester films and fibers.
