Beijing Chemical Industry Research Institute develops high-quality BOPP special materials

The Beijing Chemical Research Institute cooperated with Zhenhai Refining and Chemicals and successfully developed a homogenous BOPP new grade F280Z. During the development of homopolymerization of BOPP production technology, Beijing Chemical Industry Research Institute adopted a self-developed electron donor control technology to research and develop a unique homopolymerized BOPP production process. This is on Zhenhai Petrochemical's 200,000 tons/year polypropylene plant. The test produced high-quality BOPP special materials. The value of the products increased by approximately 300 yuan per ton. Mass production was started in July. The monthly production capacity was over 5,000 tons. A new approach was developed for the development of new products for refinery polypropylene plants.

Trial production of the product was first tested in Zhejiang Huabin Packaging Materials Co., Ltd. Pulling film speed 420m/min, tried 700 tons, no broken film, and the product stiffness is high, the haze is only 0.5%. The ash content in the raw material is low, and the filter replacement period is extended to about 30 days. Also achieved in the use of the core layer and the surface layer, the effect of the surface layer is very satisfactory. Subsequent applications in nearly 10 companies such as Jiangsu Shuangliang Group Hengchuang Packaging Materials Co., Ltd. and Hangzhou Xiaoshan Huayi Plastics Co., Ltd. also showed similar advantages.
