Recently, the Sinopec Group Company's “Integrated Rubber Structure and Performance Study” project was approved by the Yanhua Research Institute and the Beijing Rubber Industry Research and Design Institute. Experts believe that the newly developed integrated rubber SIBR (styrene/isoprene/butadiene ternary copolymerization) of this project has reached the international advanced level in its comprehensive performance, and suggests that SIBR be industrialized as soon as possible.

Integrated rubber SIBR is mainly used for the manufacture of tire tread rubber, can also be used as packaging materials, adhesives, asphalt and so on. In 2003, the Yanhua Research Institute and the Beijing Rubber Industry Research and Design Institute discussed the relationship between the structure and properties of the integrated rubber. The Institute of Yanhua Research, based on years of model test synthesis and preliminary performance evaluation, selected two The formulas were scaled up in a pilot test to verify the results of the model tests. The synthesized SIBR rubber has good physical and mechanical properties and dynamic mechanical properties. It can be used to improve the wear resistance of tread rubber in tread compound formulations. , Reduce rolling resistance, can meet the performance requirements of high performance tire tread rubber.
