Corrugated cartons are more economical and economical than plastic boxes

For the past 100 years, corrugated boxes have been the preferred packaging for most products. Today, plastic boxes have suddenly emerged as powerful competitors for corrugated cartons in some market segments. Plastic box manufacturers believe that by repeatedly using plastic boxes can reduce the purchase of shipping containers and reduce processing costs. Therefore, the plastic box may have a certain appeal to the receiving party. But in many cases these costs have to be paid, or even larger, especially in the absence of an assessment of the effect of the replacement container on the entire business.

The idea that plastic boxes are more environmentally friendly than corrugated boxes is untenable. Although plastic boxes can be used repeatedly, plastic boxes are produced using non-renewable resources. Many plastic products are eventually landfilled and cannot be degraded; while corrugated cartons are made from renewable resources and can be used repeatedly for corrugated paper production. In fact, among all packaging materials, corrugated paper recycling is also the highest. At present, 70% of corrugated paper products are recycled. The corrugated paper industry should strive to recycle old products to produce more corrugated cartons (high recycled content) so that end users can also reduce costs by selling old corrugated cartons.

Summary: Corrugated cartons are more economical and practical than plastic boxes and can meet environmental requirements and are more suitable for product packaging.
