As a quasi-prepolymer, Baytec ME-- 120 reacts with a mixture of 1,4-butanediol, polypropylene glycol and polytetramethylene glycol in a certain ratio. In the production of elastomers in the Shore hardness range of 50A to 60D, suitable catalysts should be selected. Baytec ME--120 quasi-prepolymers provide excellent formability and high reproducibility.
