Japanese metallocene HDPE accelerates development

The metallocene-based Creolex HDPE has high impact strength and environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR). Recently, the Japanese supplier Asahi Ka-sei has obtained the permission of DOW Chemical Co., Ltd. to use DOW's Insite process to produce special-grade Creolex HDPE resin by slurry method.

The injection-grade metallocene HDPE resin introduced by Asahi Kasei of Japan not only has high fluidity but also has good impact performance and ESCR resistance. Blow-molded metallocene HDPE has good impact properties and ESCR resistance while having high rigidity.
