Qingdao built PVC low-foam special-purpose material production line passed the appraisal

The research and development of the new-type PVC low-foam construction pipe special materials for the “Ninth Five-Year Plan” national science and technology research project undertaken by Qingdao Institute of Chemical Technology was recently approved by the National Ministry of Science and Technology and commissioned by the National Petroleum and Chemical Industry Bureau.
The project team has developed hard PVC low-foam construction pipe special materials and related equipment and production technology and PVC low-foaming construction pipe and low-foaming interior decorative profiles and plates. Its surface is smooth and hard, and the core cell structure is small. Dense, performance and quality meet or exceed the requirements of the assessment indicators. Compared with current ordinary plastic pipes, this new type of construction material has the advantages of raw materials, high rigidity, good dimensional stability, small expansion coefficient and shrinkage factor, good heat insulation, sound insulation and insulation, and low cost.
At present, the Qingdao Chemical Engineering Institute has cooperated with Qingdao Gaoyuandong Plastics Engineering Company to establish an industrialization base and reached an annual output of 1,000-3,000 tons of new PVC low-foam construction pipe special materials and an annual output of 500 tons of PVC low-foam construction pipe.
