LCD thermal ink printing was a skill that people were more interested in at the time and difficult to grasp. In terms of manufacturing methods, it is also attributed to the microcapsule structure ink type, but in terms of the characteristics of the liquid crystal ink, it mainly utilizes the characteristics of liquid crystal temperature change.
At the time of manufacture, the liquid crystal and the auxiliary agent in the microcapsules are closed and manufactured in the bonding material. The main components are as follows:

1 plate
Generally, the screen version can be made of nylon mesh or polyester mesh. If the amount of ink required on the plate is large, a stainless steel mesh plate can be used. The number of meshes is generally from 100 to 175 mesh, and is selected according to the requirements of the diameter of the ink microcapsules and the thickness of the ink layer. The diameter of the microcapsules is generally between 10 and 30 μm. A strong water-resistant emulsion should be used for plate making.
2 printing
â—The printing plate should be filled with ink at one time, and it is best not to refill the ink halfway to prevent foaming.
â—Because the microcapsule ink is easy to block the plate, when the net is found in the printing and foaming, it should be immediately shut down and washed thoroughly with alcohol water.
â— The printing pressure should not be too large to prevent the liquid crystal capsule from being crushed.
â— In order to make the printed part bright, the printed background should be black or dark. The base color may be a water-soluble ink or an organic solvent ink. Printing methods can be screen printing, offset printing, gravure printing. When using an organic solvent ink, it must be boring after printing, and the ink film must not remain organic solvent, otherwise it will react with the liquid crystal and affect the color development.
â—The printing ink layer should be smooth and bright, and the thickness of the ink layer should be controlled to 20~30μm. If the ink layer is not flat or too thin, the color will be reduced.
â—Printing order can first print the ground color with black (or deep color) ink, then print the required picture with liquid crystal ink; also print the liquid crystal ink first, then use water-soluble black (or deep color) ink to print the desired shade. The picture is covered.
3 boring
◠The boring method is preferably natural and boring. It can also be dried by a warm air of about 40 °C.
â— Do not stack and stack as much as possible after boring. It is not advisable to add pressure when cutting.
