1, CTP machine surface maintenance
The outer surface of the cleaning output device protects the appearance and surface finish, ensuring that visual indications and markings are clearly visible. More importantly, regular cleaning reduces the amount of dust that can fall into the device when the access panel is removed or opened. The areas where dust is most likely to accumulate are the fan box panel, the power box panel, the front and top panels, and the area where the plates enter and exit the output device. Reliable, high quality output requires keeping the outer surface of the output device clean.

Cleaning It is recommended to vacuum all the inspection panel seams before cleaning the outer surface of the output device to remove any accumulated dust. If the surface is often wiped clean with a dry cloth and the environment is relatively dry and free of steam, it may be sufficient to do so. For a more thorough cleaning, use a cloth dampened with water and a mild detergent. Thoroughly wipe off any remaining detergent with a clean, damp cloth. (Warning: Do not allow water or other liquids to flow freely into the output device. This can result in electric shock, serious injury, and damage to the output device.)

2, CTP machine internal maintenance

Clean edge detection strip

To position an image to the edge of a plate, the output device uses an edge detection algorithm. The algorithm relies on a 741 mm (29.2 in.) black, non-reflective test strip placed in the surface of the imaging drum inside the output device, which is located on the inside of the output device, on the surface of the imaging drum next to the front-edge clamp. The edge detection strip must be cleaned once a month to avoid edge detection errors.

To clean the edge detection strip:

1. Make sure the output device is not currently working.
2. Turn off the output device.
3. Open the front door.
4. Turn the imaging drum by hand until you see the edge detection strip.

Note: Do not grab the right end surface of the imaging drum. This can damage the optical encoder in the imaging drum.
5. Wet a piece of cotton-free cloth with distilled water (for precise operation) and wipe the test strip only once in one direction.
(Be careful not to leave any fingerprints or smudges on the test strips. Wipe dry with a clean, dry cloth after wiping.)

Clean the plate roller:

1. Make sure the output device is not currently working.
2. Turn off the output device.
3. Open the front door.
4. Gently wipe the plate roller (bright blue) by gently wiping the other hand with a damp, lint-free cloth (for precision handling). (Be careful not to leave any fingerprints or smudges on the test strips. Wipe dry with a clean, dry cloth after wiping.)

Cleaning imaging drum

To clean the imaging drum

1. Make sure that the output device is not currently imaging the plate.
2. Turn off the output device.
3. Open the front door.
4. Gently wipe the imaging drum with a light, lint-free cloth (for precision handling) by gently wiping the other hand.
(Be careful not to leave any fingerprints or smudges on the test strips. Wipe dry with a clean, dry cloth after wiping.)

Make sure the temperature and temperature of the CTP studio meet the requirements for machine operation. (Be sure to turn on the air conditioner when the server is on)

Layout check

One version comes out, first look at the layout for dirty spots, white spots, scratches, and whether the layout is clean.
For blue paper, (there are digital samples to digital samples) to ensure that the layout is consistent with the sample.
If you encounter a layout that is different from blue paper, you should stop publishing immediately and view the original file.
Because the company's plate has a bottom ash, if you are not sure whether the layout is clean, use the eraser pen to eliminate it on the side of the plate. After wiping, check if the layout is clean. (If the layout is not clean, stop publishing immediately)

First, the layout is not clean

Cause: CTP exposure energy is not enough. The visual effect is affected by the bottom of the layout. If you don't look carefully, you may not see it (you can't see the dots with the expander).
The way to avoid this happening again: use the eraser pen to eliminate it at the edge of the plate. After wiping it, there is a sharp contrast.

Treatment: Increase CTP exposure energy.

1, the speed of the printing machine:
In the case of CTP energy compliance, the plate has a blue bottom. Adjustable wiper speed.
2, the development temperature in the case of CTP energy standards, the version has a blue bottom. Increase the development temperature if the speed cannot be adjusted. (If the temperature is raised, it will dilute the dot, which can be used to adjust the speed)
3, the punching machine barbing pressure This method is rarely used, in the case of the above 1-2 are invalid, the bar pressure can be properly adjusted. Second, the PS version of the picture pixel is not enough

Reason: The file was processed and the publication was not found.
Handling: The method of reprocessing the file to avoid this happening again: at the time of publication, the same order can be first published in a version of the sample (should be carefully drafted), and no problem can be published after proofreading. If there is any problem, you need to report it to the supervisor in time and change the documents.

Third, the printing machine has dirty spots

Cause: The plate has a dirty spot (the replenishing solution cannot be pumped)
Handling: Check if the version of the glue stick is dirty and wipe it clean. In the plate machine operation to supplement the development, directly pump some development to add or remove some of the old development to add some new developer. (If the development is used too long, you should consider replacing the development, replacing the care, cleaning the machine)
Ways to avoid this happening again: Before each publication, you must use the scrap version several times. Check if the replenishing solution is pumped up. Wipe the glue stick with a sponge and wet the water.
