Plexiglass processing

Nowadays, the applications of plexiglass-processed products have become more and more extensive, and the requirements for plexiglass processing have become higher and higher, especially organic glass screen printing. The improvement points of the organic glass screen printing process are as follows:

1. A basic requirement for achieving perfect image reproduction is that the quality of the transparent negative positive film is better, ie the edge of the dot should be neat and opaque. The color separation sheet is the same color as the printing ink used.

2. The negative film is placed on a glass plate and then exposed. The stretched screen plate is placed on the negative film and is parallel to the image axis. If there is a moiré pattern, rotate the screen to the left or right until the moire disappears. Generally, turn it 7°. The area where the moire is easily formed is located in the direction of the screen mesh and at the intersection of the screen. Major colors and darker colors cause more problems with moire.

3. For four-color printing, the same size and stable aluminum mesh frame should be used, and the used mesh frames are all stretched by the same type and model mesh. The use of dyed wire mesh helps to eliminate the moire, and the tension across the screen is uniform, and the four screen printing screens have the same stretch tension.

4. The grinded squeegee is critical for high quality printing. The blade has a Shore hardness of approximately 70. The squeegee should be set at an angle of 75°. If the angle of the squeegee is adjusted too flat, the printed image may be blurred. If the angle is adjusted too steeply, the risk of deformation of the screen printing image is large.

5. The ink-return knife should not be set too low. If so, the film plate will be filled with excess ink and the print will be easily blurred and dirty.

6. Mesh transfer images are printed with high-viscosity ink. The finer the screen, the thicker the ink is.

7. Using UV ink, the tonal range of the mesh adjustment image should be selected as 5% to 80%, and the scratch hardness of the squeegee should be 75. In order to control the UV inks in the color overprinting, it is recommended to print in the color order of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. When using UV ink, the screen thickness does not exceed 5um.
