According to the principle of stereo imaging, shooting from different angles, the left and right pixels are recorded on the photosensitive material. When viewed, the left pixel is seen by the left eye and the right pixel is seen by the right eye. The printed matter produced according to this principle is called stereoscopic printing.
The three-dimensional printing process is generally divided into four steps.
Step one: Stereo photography
There are two methods for shooting stereoscopically printed manuscripts:
(1) Circular Arc Stereo Photography: The cylindrical lens plate is mounted on the photosensitive plate before taking a picture, the optical axis of the camera is aligned with the center of the subject, an arc of an angle of 3 to 10 degrees, and the grating plate in front of the camera photosensitive plate is The photosensitive sheets move randomly at random, and after exposure, they are focused into one pixel under each half cylinder of the grating plate. When the camera finishes photographing at a predetermined distance, the pixels are covered with the entire grid pitch, and after washing, a stereoscopic photograph can be obtained.
(2) Shutter movement method: When shooting, the shutter movement distance is equivalent to the distance between the two eyes of the human (60mm), and the grid plate moves accordingly, and the moving distance is a pitch (0.6mm).
Step 2: Plate Making
The following points must be noted during stereolithography:
(1) Stereo photographs are usually made by offset printing. Considering the fineness of the stereo image pixels and the magnification of the cylindrical grating, the density of the network lines must not be lower than 300 lines/inch.
(2) Since the three-dimensional manuscript is composed of a closely-arranged pixel, the lenticular plate is composited after plate making and printing. Therefore, the three-dimensional printing is different from the ordinary color printing in different angles, so as to avoid the moiré pattern, different gates are used. The three-dimensional printing of the distance should have different combinations of yellow, magenta, cyan, and black color screens, in which the cyan and black plates can have the same angle. If the three-color inks are superimposed on the neutral ash, the number should be reduced. The error caused by four overprints eliminates the need for black printing.
Step 3: Printing
Paper used for three-dimensional printing must be compact, smooth, flat, small in stretchability, and indelible after printing ink.
Generally use high-precision four-color printing presses, and the workshop should have constant temperature and humidity conditions.
Step 4: Composite Mirror Plate
After printing, the surface needs to be covered with a lenticular plate to have a three-dimensional effect. Cylindrical lens grids are available in hard plastic and soft plastic, and hard plastic is used when the web is large.
Three-dimensional printing has the following characteristics:
1. The image has a strong three-dimensional feeling.
2. The three-dimensionally printed manuscripts can be modeled or photographed, and the ink can be printed at a high temperature.
3. The surface of the printed product is covered with a convex-convex mirror-like grating plate, and the three-dimensional effect of the panoramic picture can be directly viewed.
4. Tie-color printing must pay close attention to production as planned, to avoid paper stretching, resulting in overprinting is not allowed.
The three-dimensional printing elements mainly include:
(1) Paper: The paper used for three-dimensional printing needs to be compact, smooth, smooth, with low elasticity, and the use of coated paper and cardboard is more.
(2) Grating sheet material: There are mainly hard plastic stereoscopic gratings and soft plastic stereoscopic gratings.
The hard plastic lenticular sheet has a high refractive index and has a good gloss.
Soft plastic steric lenticular sheets have good chemical resistance, but poor thermal stability and light resistance.
(3) Ink: Since any visible degree of foaming will affect the sharpness and three-dimensional effect, the three-dimensional printing ink is not a foaming ink. The curing temperature of the three-dimensional three-dimensional printing ink conforms to the curing range of the plastic ink. After the ink layer is cured, the three-dimensional ink has the same good elasticity as the standard plastic ink. The image printed with this ink has a distinct fine level and clear edges, and the fine level and screening quality are ideal.
(4) Adhesive: The role of the adhesive is to firmly bond the printed material and the lenticular sheet and to protect the ink layer from discoloration at high temperatures.
