Purchase and use of flexo UV inks

(1) When purchasing flexographic UV inks, first define the type of substrate, and then select flexographic UV inks with different properties according to the substrate. For example, when printing PE film, you can't use flexographic UV ink for printing paper, otherwise the adhesion will be bad and it will cause waste.

(2) UV inks should be stored in a ventilated, dark environment. The general storage temperature is 16 to 28°C. During the printing process, the light in the workshop, especially around the ink tank, should not be too strong to prevent the UV ink from thickening and solidification.

(3) When the UV ink is cured, the mercury lamp needs to be warmed up for a few minutes after being turned on, so that the mercury in the lamp tube is completely vaporized so as to achieve a complete spectrum output, and the adhesion of the printed matter caused by the poor curing of the UV ink is avoided.

(4) Before the formal printing, the machine should be idled for 5 to 10 minutes so that the UV ink and the anilox roll and the printing plate can be fully affiliated and the transfer performance of the UV ink can be improved.
