Germany "stains" plastic film with chlorophyll

According to reports, German scientists recently invented a chlorophyll-stained plastic film that prevents the rot of light and chlorophyll in green foods from causing food rot, thus greatly prolonging the preservation time of green foods.
Since most green foods contain a large amount of chlorophyll, the pigment undergoes photooxidation under light irradiation, decomposing the energy in the food and causing the food to rot. In order to extend the shelf life of foods, traditional packaging either uses opaque packaging materials, or is wrapped in plastic and vacuumed to isolate the food from oxygen. The former can't make customers choose intuitively, while the latter is more complicated and the cost is relatively higher. However, adopting the new method is not only simple and easy, but also low in cost.
