(4) Fully enclosed container

Such packages include a variety of rigid or flexible mouth-sealed or fully-sealed containers - closed bags made from paper, plastic, foil, hoses, metal cans, and the like. The advantages are: If you want to access, you must destroy a certain part of the packaging container or sliced ​​package. The key to the packaging bag is the sealing material and technology, which must ensure the safety and tightness of the product. The tamper-evident or anti-stealing effect of metal cans is the best, but the convenience of consumers to open should be considered, so there are more and more applications of canned lids. Spray cans require specialized filling techniques, and it is difficult for ordinary hackers and burglars to open and steal.

Apply paper or aluminum foil with identification mark to the bottle mouth or container, and tear this seal before opening. Bottle closures are divided into two types: inner closures and soft closures:

First, the inner seal. There are three commonly used seals: Waxed pulp backings and translucent liners are commonly used linings in the food industry. When filling is complete, the container is passed through the roller system so that the adhesive is applied to the mouth of the bottle, and then the lid is closed. When the bottle cap is removed, translucent paper is adhered to the container while the pulp backing remains on the cap. Pressure-sensitive inner seal, usually EPS material, adheres firmly within a few hours of pressing. The heat-sensitive inner lining, which is a plastic coated aluminum foil, usually adheres to the waxed pulp backing. After the lid is capped, the container passes through an electromagnetic field, which causes the aluminum foil to generate heat, and the face material on the aluminum foil can be melted and adhered firmly. Second, soft cover type. U.S. health regulations require that the outlets of dairy packaging containers must be properly covered during transport and storage. The use of aluminum foil as a soft cover began in the dairy industry in 1966 and was then used in the healthcare industry. These were all disposable and convenient packaging. Once the aluminum foil soft cap is removed, it is extremely difficult to roll the cap under the cap.

(6) Tape closures

Seal the flaps or caps of the carton (box) with special tape with identification features. To remove the product, the tape must be torn off. According to the needs of the packager, tapes with special properties can be produced to meet different applications:

2 Special Tapes - Most containers can be wrapped around the opening by tape, depending on their size and shape, to form a ferrule. This tape sleeve can play a role in sealing. These sealing tapes also help protect the freshness of the product and print consumer-related information.

3 Graphic disappearance tape - This type of tape provides the function of sealing, but also provides the function of self-deleting the printed graphic symbol if it is opened. It is a step further than the existing ordinary tapes that some companies have printed with special graphics. Its main feature is the use of different layers of interface adhesive strength, so that when the tape is initially sealed and shows a special graphic mark, and after being unsealed, the graphic mark automatically disappear (ie, peeled from the plastic film). If it is re-adhesively sealed, no graphic signs will appear. According to this tape, the user can determine the original integrity of the package.

(7) Destructible cover

Originally known as PILFER-PROOF CAP. This metal or plastic cover can provide visible signs of damage to the seal, and it is used in large quantities for packaging of OTC drugs, beverages, foods, and the like. At present, there are mainly two forms of destructible cover change. One is disconnected or tear-off, the other is vacuum. Can also be supplemented by the seal (see bottle closed within) to achieve burglary.

1 Disconnect the cap Twist and break-off--Metal and plastic screw caps, punch holes along the bottom of the side skirt to form a break line. When the bottle cap is twisted, the screw cap is separated from the lock ring along the break line due to the wave cuffing or the pawl locking under the convex ring at the lower end of the bottle mouth. Opening the lid is very convenient for the consumer to open and re-cover. This tamper-evident cover has different structures, the difference being reflected in the formation of the locking ring and the method of impedance torque.

Tear pull-off - this type of cover change is often called tear tab (TEARTAB), which uses a lock collar to prevent the head from rotating, through the container to completely pull off the ring to open. The closure usually has obvious tearing tongues for consumers to open. Most of the hoop is made of plastic such as PE.

At the top of the cap there is a button or coin-like protrusion that shows security. Under normal circumstances, it is slightly concave due to vacuum suction. When the cap is opened and the vacuum is lost, the button-shaped projection will pop up, and a "click" sound will be emitted to check if the container has been disturbed.

Vacuum tear-off - it is a two-part cover for the packaging of nuts and condiments. A metallic vacuum lid is embedded in a side skirt of a plastic tear-off collar, and the projection molded into a plastic ring can provide re-sealing properties to the container by friction fit after removal of the tear pull tab.

(8) Alarm signal packaging The American Optical Coatings Testing Center and PA Technologies have developed a plastic film that will change color under the action of external forces. The film is coated with reverse interference coatings of different wavelengths. Under normal conditions, the coating is brightly coloured. Once passively applied, the coating begins to peel off, the film turns gray, and the stripped part creates a pattern, providing a warning signal that the package was unsealed. This material is very suitable for packaging seals.

A factory in Japan placed a small package of ferrous oxide into the package while installing another oxygen indicator pattern in the transparent lid. Once unsealed, the oxygen-deficient environment in the package is destroyed, and the ferrous oxide becomes iron oxide, and the graphic mark changes color.

New fiber seals. If the seal is affixed, the optical fiber will be in a wrong position if it is unsealed, and only the bright light can be used to identify the diffracted stripes of the light in the wrong position.

A company packaged the dye in a polymer microcapsule and added it to the adhesive (tape) used to seal the carton. When the tape is torn open or the box is opened, the capsule is ruptured and the fuel is scattered on the container, showing signs of being opened.

In view of the increasingly stringent requirements on the quality of goods and the diversification and complication of crimes on a worldwide scale, the voice of enhancing the technical quality of outer packaging to ensure the quality of goods, consumers' health and safety, and the interests of businesses has become increasingly strong. Drugs (OTCs) and other related products that can be sold without prescriptions must be changed to display tamper-evident packaging. For TEs that are currently on the shelves, such packaging does, to a large extent, not only contain relevant criminal cases, but also ensure people’s confidence in the quality of their products.
