Wugang R & D successfully new corrosion-resistant alloy steel pipe

The newly-added members of the new products of Wugang have added new members. Recently, the two corrosion-resistant alloy structural steel pipes developed by Wugang have passed the new product technology appraisal hosted by Anhui Economic and Trade Commission and will be officially put into mass production to meet the market demand.
These two new products are H2S stress corrosion resistant seamless steel pipes and seawater corrosion resistant seamless steel pipes. Five steel technology personnel learned through market research that domestic chemical, nuclear power and other industries have special technical requirements for corrosion-resistant alloy steel. Therefore, they took the initiative to carry out research and development of such products. By optimizing the proportions on the alloy steel elements and intensifying the smelting and forging quality control, the two new products meet the requirements in terms of welding, mechanical and anti-corrosion negative aspects, especially the technology of resistance to hydrogen sulfide stress corrosion cracking. The indicators have reached the international advanced level.
It is understood that these two new products have been applied in some domestic enterprises such as machinery, nuclear power, and chemical industry. The products have good corrosion resistance, and they have extended the service life of the equipment and are well received by users.
