The spray device of the compound salt spray test chamber is composed of the following parts:
Spray gas source: The compressed air is decontaminated by oil removal and humidified into a saturator containing distilled water at a temperature higher than the temperature inside the tank. The pressure of the clean and humidified gas source is controlled within the range of 70~170Kpa (0.7~1.7kgf/cm2) through the pressure control valve.
Spray chamber: consists of a sprayer, a brine tank and a baffle. One or more sprayers can be used, depending on the size of the test area. The baffle prevents salt spray from being sprayed directly onto the specimen, and the placement of the nozzle and baffle affects the distribution of salt spray in the composite salt spray chamber.
Brine storage tank: It must be equipped with a device that maintains a certain level of brine tank in the spray chamber.
Note: Adjust the spray pressure, the water temperature in the saturator and the position of the baffle so that the salt spray settlement speed in the composite salt spray test chamber and the sodium chloride concentration in the salt spray collection solution reach the salt spray settling velocity after every 24 cm sprayed by 24 h. The area is 1 to 2 ml/h, the sodium chloride concentration is 50 ± 10 g/L, and the pH is 3.1 to 3.3.
